Angelene is the daughter of a carnival performer or a “circus freak” as some people call them. Circus sideshows and freakshows are now being banned in the country thus he has lost his income. Angelene’s father was born without legs and arms. 

Angelene is a bright and hardworking young lady. She dreams of finishing college and getting a good job to support her disabled father.
